We are stopping over in Detroit area with two kids and 3 dogs. Can anyone recommend a decently priced pet friendly hotel we could use? Thank you.

Google will more than likely have all the information you seek.

Thank you. We have Googled it already. Just wondered if anyone could recommend a place. Or if they had a bad experience somewhere, to give us a heads up.

When I travel with pets, I just look for Motel 6. I know what I am going to get and I know they accept pets.

People here are not likely to know. When in our area, our pets stay at our house or at a relative's house. I never have and likely never will need to find a pet friendly hotel that is near my house. I will be surprised if anyone from here knows where to stay here with pets.

I've stayed with my cat at the Henry in Dearborn. It's a $75 pet fee, but the room itself can be surprisingly affordable. It all depends on what you can swing, really.

Thanks. Problem is we have three dogs. They are kennel trained and no -shedding. Hopefully we can find something. Good point about not needing hotels near your home. But if you were moving there like us and needed to stay in a hotel before you moved in then you might have used a hotel.

My suggestion is to google hotels in the area and ask what their policy is and how many animals are allowed per room and what their pet deposit is and if it is refundable.
Is there a reason you have to travel with all 3 dogs?

Three dogs maybe very hard to find a place to accept unless you rent the entire motel. Maybe you can find a place with a kennel next door or nearby and just board the dogs. What area do you need to stay in? Boarding - probably a lot of people can help you with.
