I was wondering if anyone had any information for a military family moving to Naples. This is our first move with the military and it will be overseas, so we are completely new at this! We don't have children yet, just my husband and self, no pets. Any suggestions on areas to check out for housing, areas to not check out? We are planning on living off base, and want to live out away from the base. I have tried checking online for housing, but no success there. Any advice on important things to bring/not bring? We are leaving our cars behind, so no worries there. I have heard lots of random and helpful things, and appreciate any and all advice. Thanks so much!
My family and I will be moving to Naples, as well. So far, a great site for housing located out in town is arkadia.com. at the very least you all can see what prices are like and what some of the apartments or houses look like. since it is just the two of you, your options are wide open. I don't know what branch of the military you are but cnic.navy.mil/naples has the welcome aboard link that you should fully read. The entire site is very informative. Enjoy.
