It probably will not be a problem...

"there are military policies and directives to discourage immediate family members from serving together." but they normally can... Or than can be assigned apart. The Sullivan Brothers: Policy Regarding Family Members Serving Together

No that is not a problem, except in a combat zone I served for 20 years in the Navy and I remember brothers serving together on one or more of my ships but not in a combat zone. You are probably thinking about the Sullivan brothers. They were 5 brothers who were lost when the USS Juneau CL-52 was sunk during WWII and due to the the "Sole Survivor Policy" (a movie about this was "Saving Private Ryan") stipulates that the "Solve Survivor" (son or daughter) can ask to be discharged if they are the sole survivor resulting from a combat death.

Agreed. I served four years with my sister. We were at two different bases, but they were in the same city.

You don't say where they are "stationed together". Is this on a ship or on shore duty somewhere?

That's not a problem at all. In fact, it's not even a problem in a war zone unless there are no other living children of yours. If there are no other living children, having them both in a war zone is not a problem. If one gets killed, and one is the only remaining child, then it can become an issue.
