One of our nation's finest, Staff Sargent Robert Hankins, is in a contest to be the Grand Marshall of the upcoming Tums QuikPak 500 race at the Martinsville Speedway. To win, the contestants were to submit an essay to Tums and accumulate the most votes. He is now one of 5 finalists and needs your votes. Please go to TUMS Racing, click on the learn more link and vote for Robert. I think he would be the most appropriate Grand Marshall for this race, especially if you read his essay. Please help support our troops and this hero by voting for him and spreading the word around. The contest ends 9/12/08 and each computer can vote once a day.
By the way, the event he described in his essay actually happened as he stated.

Best of luck to him! One of the last season American Idol contestants was from the USS Ronald Reagan
