As much as I am a Seattle Mariners fan, an Ichiro and Griffey fan, and as much as I'm depressed about the fact that they aren't in the playoffs, I want to give my congratulations to Milwaukee as the Brewers have beaten the Dbacks and will make their first advance in the MLB playoffs since 1982. I am very happy because my father is from Milwaukee and I think he is proud too.

This was the most dramatic game I have ever seen in my 28 years of age. I was on pins and needles all night. The brewers have sucked most of my life but have been good for the last 6 years and the NLCS is the farthest they have gone in my lifetime! I am rooting on the cardinals so we can get home field advantage. I am so happy and excited!! I really can't believe it.

Yeah, it was a good game and it's been a while...

Fortunately for me, my home team was going to win this game either way (Phoenix or Milwaukee). I'm happy with the outcome.

I'm just happy for all of you. Even as a Mariners fan(a long suffering but loyal one), it means something to me. Milwaukee has sentimental value to me because of a family legacy. I haven't been in Milwaukee at all since 1992, but it still means something. I called my father as soon as I could to tell him. I felt like he would be proud. He was there when the Brewers went to the World Series. I think he remembers Cooper and Molitor.

After of year of turmoil(Mayfair violence, Riverwest violence, Wisconsin State Fair violence, turmoil in the government) Milwaukee, and Wisconsin in general, deserves something good, and I'm glad to see this happen.

That stupid snake bite thing after every good play AZ does is well again stupid. Arizona shouldn't try to copy Beast Mode.

I hope the Brewers will avenge their 1982 defeat and beat the Cards this time.

Way to go Brewers!!

I was listening to the game on my phone (TBS??? who puts playoff games on TBS????) when Arizona tied it at 2. Then my phone decided to restart itself. My KC Royals pessimism kicked in and assumed it would be all downhill from there, maybe next year or whatever. Lo and behold, I find out after it was all said and done that they actually won. So this is what it's like to have a good local team to root for.

Unfortunately, it looks like the next round will also be on the Atlanta Braves Superstation. Dude, that's just weird to me. Aren't there any local broadcast stations that are allowed to rebroadcast that signal?
