Here's the thing man: as you get older and more financially secure you become more "eligible" and appealing, especially to a wider audience of potential mates.

As they get older....they become less eligible, until eventually hitting a "dating death spiral" and eventually a "point of no return". It used to be the average American woman married before age 20, while the average male married between 20 and 25.

The longer she waits, the harder it'll become for her, especially with higher and higher partner counts on her end (less emotional bonding / more detachment) and especially if she pops out kids (which is a mine field ever fewer men are willing to waltz into).

I'm also at the age where I really don't want to women who don't have ambition or a career either and that is something that has developed in just the past few months. I want a nurse or something with those amazing health benefits....especially if we're going to have children.

I also don't want some chick who's broke and riddled with credit card debt. No thanks, I want to have a financial future and someone who's an equal contributor and a minimal detractor. I'm frugal, why can't she be? Too many horror stories about men's lives ruined because of over-spending females. Too many men living in apartments eating beans out of a can while they got to keep YOUR house. So yeah, I'd prefer someone on an equal footing, or even a better financial standing.

There has been no activity on this thread from the OP since 2012. I'm wondering if the situation changed.

What's your take on a very good looking and ambitious woman with no college degree and minimum wage job. I know someone like that who will not seriously date a man with similar background. Just curious.
