When were most of you last in New Berlin? It's a very nice city with very decent schools and near to most everything.

Top-notch like Brookfield-no, but not a bad second. There are tons of blue collars in Brookfield, too. I've lived in both cities for a combined 47 years.

I lived in New Berlin a few years ago. It's just a bunch of houses and strip malls. The western half of the city is more rural.

There's nothing offensive about New Berlin, but there's really nothing great or special about it.

Yeah, I definitely agree. That whole area of eastern Waukesha county is pretty much the same.

Again, I don't agree, but to each their own.

Brookfield has the shopping. Menomonee Falls has the cutesy downtown. Muskego has the lakes. New Berlin has... um... stuff... otherwise, culturally, socially, economically, and even much of the housing all seem about the same. Nothing wrong with that, but after a while, I've just lumped them all together. If Franklin were due south of Muskego and somehow in Waukesha county, it'd be in that crowd too. There are probably a couple of north side suburbs that would fit as well.
This from someone who does not live in any of those places, though, so there's your grain of salt.
