There is so many holes in his argument I cannot believe this is coming from Mr.Gurda. I have family members who are friends with him and I used to respect him and his work and what he has done for Milwaukee but he is just dead wrong on this one. I will debate this later but for now it's Brewers -vs- Whitesox!

Just because you have a favorable opinion of Scott Walker does not mean every article that does not have a favorable opinion of the governor is false. While I personally believe Walker does not "hate" the city of Milwaukee, some of his actions are directly intended to disenfranchise the voters in urban areas such as Milwaukee. Those actions include redistricting which is meant to suppress the urban vote. You must realize that although you dislike the tone of the article, some of Scott Walkers actions do NOT benefit the city of Milwaukee.

I agree, but this goes both ways. Don't think that if state Democrats had had the same opportunity they wouldn't have done the exact same thing. Reform is needed, but since the pols would have to vote against their own interests, it'll probably never happen. Look at Iowa's congressional districts for an idea of what I'd like to see...

Agreed. The democrats in Illinois did the exact same thing and had very similar results. All politicians today are crooks. Walker is no exception.

Illinois usually goes democrat, well, at least in Chicago. They've had both bad republican and democrat governors.
When Tommy Thompson was governor, there was a child injured badly that needed to utilize the state's helicopter but Thompson was using it for his campaign, the kid later died. At least that's what my mom told me. Kinda like that Gov. Christie using the state helicopter to visit his son's little league game.

You do know about Walker when he was Milwaukee's county exec. don't you? He definitely ticked off a lot of county employees and cost the county thousands of dollars.

Read up, don't be a sheeple. Sure seems Walker doesn't favor Milwaukee.

It's not real but it is funny and pretty much sums up Walker's attitude towards Milwaukee.
