It's rather amusing that some people insist on being "fans" of certain sports but don't grasp the entire point to which some events exist.

To have your nation's team in the world cup, to say you follow the sports, but choose not to cheer for them for petty reasons doesn't exactly make sense.

Its counter-productive to why the entire world cup exists in the first place.

I like soccer, I never said I was a "fan" in the fan sense of the word. I watch it every once in awhile. Sure, it's great the U.S. is in it, that doesn't necessitate my having to support them regardless. As I said, this thread has gone off topic because I made one comment that irked people, "Good match although I was rooting for Portugal". The fact that this thread went completely off topic for 4 pages because of one inconsequential comment I made is pretty ridiculous. It's sports people, it's not like it affects the greater outcome of the universe. It's my personal opinion about a team, no one else's. I haven't insulted anyone on here for their preferences because that's what it comes down to all it is...preference. Interesting how people get heated over a sport team, lol.

Is there any place within Summerfest that shows the World Cup games? It would be cool if there was a tent or pavilion that had TVs.
