When I'm in town I go to the Downer Ave. Sendik's, Trader Joe's, Pick n' Save, Whole Foods, Gloriosos. Once in a while I do a little grocery shopping at Walmart, but that's when I already have to go pick up big box sizes of things that make it worthwhile to go there. And that is only when I don't have time to drive down to the Target on Chase Ave. to get them. The Capitol Drive Walmart makes Target look like Neiman Marcus.

Before I moved, it would either be Sentry's (replaced now with Piggly Wiggly?), Pick N' Save, or Target

I remember before Woodman's, there was Cubs, Jewel-Osco, and Kohl's Foods. To this day, I still have the Savings Club Card for Kohl's Foods. Why is it that these grocery stores except for Pick N' Save and Piggly Wiggly only stick around a decade and end up closing down?
