Probably does. I've never been to Georgia, so I didn't know that. I wonder if it has to do with where in Britain the influence comes from, too? I've been to some pretty heavily Anglo-Protestant parts of Illinois where nobody would think to say that...

I have lived in MN most of my life and have never once heard of those! They sound gross!!! Maybe its a northern Minnesota thing??
