Default How is the commute fro Rogers to St. Louis Park?

We are relocating soon and need to know how bad the commute is. What about Hwy 116 and 55 vs 94 and 494?? Help!

I don't live in the area (yet), so this is hearsay -- but I did ask a similar question not too long ago about a commute from Rogers to Plymouth. The responses I got were along the lines of "don't even think about it", "absolutely horrible", etc ... as I recall, one person even said that commute along I-94 is the worst in the country between Chicago and the west coast. But don't take my word for it since, like I said, I don't even live there.

We went up to St. Cloud yesterday, 696 to 94, it took us 30 minutes to go 7 miles at the 694-94 interchange and beyond (north). The southbound lanes weren't any better. 94 was a parking lot all the way to Albertville. This was at 1:30 in the afternoon.

Very true. A couple of weeks ago a friend and I were going out of town and it took us 2 hours that Friday to go from 694 by the Mississippi River to Albertville, a distance of maybe 20 miles? We were heading North, but the Southbound lanes were pretty much totally stopped too. And that was in the early afternoon, from about 1:30 to 3:30 PM. We saw 2 minor fender-benders (heading north) and 3 cars pulled off the shoulder heading south (2 had flat tires) in those 20 miles and that seemed to be the causes of the huge delays.
