Please drive sensibly and don't forget to use headlights even during the day (especially people in gray/silver cars

Recommend using Waze, a social driving app - appears better than Google Maps at routing around changing traffic.

Funny thing is that Waze was actually acquired by google haha. The accident reports used by google maps usually come from Waze. It's a lot nicer though since it shows you road hazards, speed traps, etc.

Did not know Waze has been bought by Google, thanks. Hope they will not fubar a good thing.

You can report traffic jams, stalled vehicles, debris, speed traps in Waze (that's the social/collaborative driving part), but not in Google maps, AFAIK.
