We are loading up Monday and driving to Minnesota from Mississippi! I'll be looking at neighborhoods for when it's time for us to move - but my husband needs a corporate/furnished apartment for a few months. He will be working in Coon rapids but thinks a high rise would be fun, any ideas?

How far of a commute is he willing to have? There are some options in Minneapolis, but driving to Coon Rapids could be a pain.

He would be happy with under 30 minutes I think for the corporate apartment if it was close to other fun things during his time off. For house shopping - he said he was fine in Plymouth or possibly Minnetonka if we found something we liked. I'm open to other areas though as long as schools are nice.

Ok! There are several options in Minneapolis, that would be around 30 minutes away. Does he only need 1 bedroom?

Minnetonka is nice, but on lake will be $$$. Areas of Plymouth feed into Wayzata schools which are good, Minnetonka schools are good too, but driving to Coon Rapids would be a pain.

There are many new houses and young families in Maple Grove, schools are very good as well. Mounds view has very good schools as well and commute wouldn't be bad.
