does anyone know where to find a deli with homemade soup. I'm not looking for the regular restaurant soup, but from scratch. Thanks

Cecil's Delicatessan, Highland Park. Great matzoball soup. Also, many Asian restaurants have excellent soups, made from scratch. Ever try pho? Great stuff!

I like Eddington's, it's a local chain. I don't know where and when it's made though.

Yeah, French Meadow! Just went there for lunch today, had their turkey-wild rice soup. It was fantastic!

Eddington's is good. Cafeteria style, and kind of too Minnesotan. Ha.

It might sounds strange, but the best soup (which I swear cured my cold) I've had in a long time was at this little casual place that does lots of to-go's called Kulan. It's on Franklin. It was spicy and like nothing I've ever had. Everything there is homemade, including their juices!

I believe Mort's Deli in Golden Valley makes their own soups.

I really like their Mike's Kentucky Hot Brown sandwich.

Eddington's -- "like coming home" -- until you see the prices.
