Hmmm. Not really...For the most part if they play R&B they play Rap/Hip-Hop also which is going to attract the 21 year olds

Trocadero's (spelling???) downtown seems to cater to an older crowd.

Try "PI the Bar" in south Mpls, The Minnesota Music Cafe in St. Paul, and the Escape Ultra Lounge in downtown Mpls (haven't been there; my daughter says it's an 18 +over club that does have R&B) for starters for R&B.

If you like jazz, try The Dakota Grill and the Artists' Quarter, both in St. Paul.

There are numerous local R&B groups and singers here; I'm just not into clubs anymore. Some great groups to look for are Mint Condition, Power of 10, the Westside Band, the Rhythm Junkies, and any of the Steele family singers.

If you are into Gospel Music, The Twin City Community Gospel Choir has wonderful AA gospel music (even if they aren't all AA). Robbie Robinson is phenomenal and can get uptight white Minnesotans singing Gospel music like you wouldn't believe!

Give a few of these a try; and then you should find other sites that might be what you are looking for.
