I am a 43 year old nurse, moving from Denver Co to Minnesota for work in the Savage MN area. I am recently divorced and that ruined my credit. I am having a difficult time trying to find decent accommodations. I have been denied apts 3 times due to credit. I have an excellent rental history and a very well paying job..can anyone suggest a place to rent anywhere close to the savage area that are forgiving on the credit issue?

Savage is the far southern suburbs. Not going to find much for apartments around there. I would try looking in Burnsville, Eagan, or Bloomington. You may be better off looking through Craigslist for something through an independent landlord as opposed to a building owned by a property management company. With that budget you could also look into a townhouse or duplex.
