Bull. Some people have no choice in where they move. They could be military, going to school, job transfer or any number of reasons.

Your myopic view is also part of the problem. Casting aspersions at others (snob yankees...) also makes you the exact thing you are railing against. (judgmental)

Agreed! I think every area should make as many attempts as they can to be accommodating to as many as possible. While you don't have to change your entire way of living, tolerance to others is important.

The problems of most areas are not simply the obesity rate, education, etc, it's mostly about the mentality of people. The other things seem to be an effect of that.
