MY BFF is moving to Laurel

My best friend is moving to Laurel this weekend. I have been to Ms lots of times, loved parts of it, other parts I am not gonna talk about, but anyway....
Can any of you recommend some good restaurants, places to shop, and the like?
I wanted to give her a list to help her out, as I am sure she is gonna have a gabillion questions........
