Don't forget the biting little lady bugs! I did a bunch of cleaning and rearranging of furniture over the weekend... And they were everywhere!

And yes... I'm back... sorry to have been gone so long. Just got busy with life and never took the time to sit and read the post. Will try to stop in more often in the future.

I hear ya, Nomadicus! And I, for one, will be happy to share my bugs with you and yours whenever you get here!

I found a great poem and picture at the following site: No-See-Em Bugs | The Family Poet

NO-SEE-EM BUGS
by Wayne Edwards

I got bit on the leg
By a no-see-em bug,
While I was out digging
In a place where I dug.

When I went to show Mom
My no-see-em bug bite,
She kissed it and said,
“It’ll soon be alright.”

Although they are tiny
And keep out of sight,
Those no-see-em bugs
Sure know how to bite!

You can’t see no-see-ems
There’s not much you can do.
If you itch but see nothing,
Then you have them too!

I'm leaving the no-see-ems in FL...I figure MO has enough stuff with out me making it worse...If I wanted them little biters I could stay here and move close to the coastal water...There will be no love lost when I depart leaving them behind...

Uh, speaking of bugs, don't really want to, however......this afternoon I was 'playing' in the yard with Brandi, my purty black lab mix and when I went to pet her, just what do you think I unexpectedly found crawling on her? A TICK!!! The unusual warm weather we had Tuesday, brought these nasty, horrible, ugly things up and out.

Pictures of the purty pup in my albums!!!! Hey, I'm too old for human babies, sooooooo....

I know I hardly ever post but had to because I'm about to burst from excitement. Last night I got a phone call from my cousin saying that my aunt, uncle and 4 cousins are all moving to the Branson area. They mostly chose this area because I live here, but also because my aunt and uncle are retired and would enjoy Branson's shows. They will also likely live by the lake and fish all they want. Their realtor has 6 houses to check out so looks like they are good to go! I can't wait to help them paint and shop for furniture. It will feel so good to have family close. Yippeee!

Sounds like great news! Good luck with the house hunting. Just think of all of the enjoyment you will have.

Our sons and their families live far away from Missouri. Hope to hear from you when they finally get here and settled!
