Hi all,
My wife is likely taking a job in Poplar Bluff, and I'm curious about rentals there. Both apartments and houses, preferably on the West side of town or West of town within 30 miles in the woods.
If you have a house for rent, feel free to let me know, and include pictures. We have 3 girls, a yellow Lab, and an RV. I'd like a garage/shop that I can weld/build cars in. 3 or 4BR 2.5b preferred, although I'd give up that .5b for a really nice house. The wife wants a fireplace, but I can talk her out of that for a good shop.
A place where I can work at 11pm if I want would be a REAL plus, I am a night owl. Might as well put insomnia to work.
No rundown or junk properties. We expect to be in a good neighborhood with good schools (although we homeschool now and may keep it up if we don't like the schools academics). If you have pictures, that would be great, although I won't be signing any papers or making any deposits for anything until I see it in person.
If you're a good, honest, and fair landlord, you may pick up a good 2+ year resident here. I am self employed and stay at home most of the time.
We currently pay rent for an apartment in Colorado Springs, and realize that rents here are extravagant compared to SE MO. I look forward to the reduced housing costs. If interested, PM me on here, and I will give you my public email.
My wife is an RN, if we can't get good housing in PB, then we'll probably move a lot closer to Springfield. We love the Ozarks, so either will do. She just doesn't have a job offer in Springfield. Not really a problem for an RN though.

WE would like to rent a NICE home in Poplar Bluff or around Poplar Bluff near The Ozarks, we have a Cavalier King Charles, so it would be just myself and husband and dog, we have a son in College. Would like 3 bedrooms and wood burning fireplace.. Please let me know if anything.
