I have the opportunity to obtain several Outlanders an Outlander Sports coming off an event use. Based on the qualifications, they are all eligible for Mitsubishi's CPO and the local dealer is going to try and enroll (can't remember actual term he used) them and see which are accepted. I like Mitsubishi's CPO because its basically the regular new vehicle warranty continuing to the new owner (unlike most others that end the full bumper to bumper coverage for just a longer powertrain). Thinking of buying 5 or 6 of them and donating them to a disable group I work with, BUT, I really don't want to be buying dogs for this group.
So, anyone have any update feeling on the 2015's? Any experiences, good and especially bad I need to be looking at? Any quirks known only to users? Thanks much!
I don't know if this will help you, but I have driven the new Outlander and Outlander Sport. I would recommend the Outlander if you need the cargo space in the back.
I had a leftover 2015 Sport as a loaner car for a few days. The vehicle was decent, quiet and smooth. The only knock I had was that the 2.0 has very little power. That combined with the CVT delivers an experience that took me a little to get used to, however I don't think it is that big a deal for the typical driver. It got good fuel economy and has a nice ride.
