Here's a great article that "did Mobile and the surrounding area proud" (i.e., that's southern speak meaning it was a very flattering well-written article
Don't forget the beaches: Mobile Bay's true grits are only one of its attractions Even though it is from a year ago, thought you might find it interesting since the info still holds true, and especially for newcomers travelling to the area wanting tips on where to stay, where to dine and what to see and do that are included... many of which have also been recommended by the forum peeps here as well.
