I live in Birmingham and wanted to know if anyone has any experience with new home builders in Spanish Fort or Daphne?

Thanks.

I drive through those areas fairly regularly, and see that the big players right now seem to be D. R. Horton and Adams Homes. My only personal experience here (I'm in Foley) is with Adams, and it has been nothing but positive. That said, I recommend you Google them both and there you will find all the bad stuff on them and any other builder you find in this area. Just keep in mind that the only people that post to these areas have and axe to grind.

Also, IMHO, my past experiences (I'm in my ninth house to date) is that the most solidly built houses are built by the independent builder, or custom builders.

Try JBL Homes, Truland, and Colony. We have been looking to buy a home for almost a year and have looked at builders too. The above mentioned builders seem to have a quality product.

S S Steele builds homes on your lot. We had one built years ago and I have relatives who built one a few years ago. Not sure how fancy you are wanting but they have some good prices for what you get.

I would highly consider checking Colony Homes. They have a great product, will build on your lot or any of the many subdivsions in the area. Their homes start at $80 sq/ft, 4 sides brick and great finish and appliance package. Good luck!

Use Jim Smith of Fairhope or AM Builders at your own risk. Can not recommend them. They have bad subs, do not live up to their website advertising.
