Nice shout out to the city.The city really is charming ,historic , and mysterious with a blend of southern Gothic. Mobile`s French ,Spanish , English,African, and Creole history is what make the city.Alabama as a whole in my opinion is very under rated and over looked due to the states Mid Evil Civil Rights era.That same era has helped shape this nation whether they will want to admit it our not.

That's interesting. I never knew that there was anything "Evil" about the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s. Please elaborate.

The racial tension in that ERA not Movement is what most outsiders know about Alabama and some are ignorant enough to believe that Alabama is still in that ERA.
