Looking to possibly relocate to the Fairhope area. My wife and I presently live in the Sarasota,Fl. area.Being are children are spread out over the country we thought moving farther north would make it easier to visit. We don't want give up the warm winters thou. What we would like to learn more about the area is medical facility quality, grocery stores, home improvement stores etc. We've redid of few older homes and kind of lean toward them. Are there areas like this that might also have room to keep our Airstream onsite?
Thanks in advance for your comments and suggestions.

Fairhope is a gem of a town. Close to the the Bay, it can be pricey. However, there are plenty of areas where housing is more reasonable and where you could likely park your Airstream. There are new, very reasonable neighborhoods.

There is a Publix, and also a (well disguised) Walmart Supercenter, plus more grocery stores and farm markets (Allegri's, among others.) You'll also find numerous hardware and home improvement stores - Lowe's and Hope Depot in Daphne, the next town over, plus others.

Fairhope is charming, attractive, interesting, with good restaurants and plenty to do. It's also close enough to Mobile to take advantage of events here.

Good luck!

awesome place to live. I lived there 13 years before moving to Laughlin, Nv.
Quiet, but lot goes on there . New Years eve and fourth of july and great mellow fun place for mardi gras parades.
