I just spent several days between Hot Springs & Polson Montana. It was the most beautiful area of the US I believe I have seen yet. I am very anxious to move from Wyoming to that area. I am a licensed insurance agent, specializing in bonds & claims. Is there anyone out there who knows of jobs in this field? What about housing? I would be willing to drive up to 40 miles or so in any direction. It's just me, so a small house or apt. would be great. If anyone out there has any suggestions, please post back and thank you.

There are a few small rentals here but jobs are very scarce and pay is rock bottom.

Look up "Cornerstone Financial" in Polson, for possible job opps in your line of work. Even if they don't have anything they may be able to point you to others in the Polson area that are in the business. Also maybe look up "5 star Financial". Rent around Polson can be as reasonable as 500.00 for a single apartment to over 2000.00 for a big home monthly for rent. Check Lake County Leader & Advertiser Home Page for the classifieds on rentals. That is the Local Lake County newspaper. Good luck. Polson is a beautiful place to live. I was born and raised here, then moved to Seattle for five years and realized Polson is where I wanted to be to raise my children. One secret for this town. Those of us who work for ourselves seem to make more money and live better than those who work for others. Just FYI.

Rents in Hot Springs start at about $350 but sometimes you can buy a place for less than renting. Blackdogs is right about jobs in this area. I always tell people Montana is great but even better if you bring your job with you.

It is slated to be built, I think we saw a sign advertising it when we drove through last weekend.
