Sure hope that forest-fire over in the Helena area isn't anywhere near you guys? If you get a chance, how about an up-date

Thank you for asking Griz, but I haven't even seen a smoke plume yet so it isn't too close.

If it is in the Avalanche Gulch I am thinking of the fire would have to cross the Missouri River or Canyon Ferry, and then cross the old Cave Gulch and Bucksnort burns to get close to Helena.
(We have a lot of fires here ).

I heard that the responders had to go all the way around to White Sulphur to be able to get to the fire from the east side as the access was gone from flooding on the west side.

I appreciate your asking and will let you know if there are any developments.

Haven't heard anything alarming. Not a big fire from what I hear.

Grass is seasoned now though. Time to get the bush hog out and cut around the house!

I hope this doesn't affect the Red Ants Pants Music Festival in White Sulphur Springs this weekend. Anybody from that area listening in? All the motels are booked,...need a place to crash!
