I am currently considering taking a job in either Plentywood or Culbertson area. I been living in the Billings area for a few years no and have fallen in love with Montana. Im looking for any information about either of these areas. I have done some looking online, but its extremely hard to get a "feel" for a place that way. Id love to go up and visit, but unfortunately that isnt an option right now. I understand from talking to some friends that both areas are being hard hit right now because of the oil boom. I have been told that both places get a tremendous amount of snow during the winter months, and that you need to be prepared for the cold. Any information that anyone could provide would be extremely welcomed. I'm in my late twenties so any information regarding entertainment and outdoors activities would be helpful.

Sorry for the late response and welcome to the Montana Forum.
My goodness, you are looking at a different way of living. Far from shopping, will travel 40 miles with out seeing another driver. However things are changing quickly due to the boom.
Not much for the social life in these areas, just the local watering holes. May I ask you line of work?
