I posted earlier in the thread that there were no beautiful towns in Montana. What a dork I am ! All the towns in Montana are beautiful in their own way and after all, the word is subjective anyway. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you're a rock hound and an old mine buff then Butte may be on your list. If you are a nature lover and love tiny river towns Polebridge would fit the bill. My problem is that I just haven't visited enough towns to really name many. I like my former town of Hot springs but it is butt ugly in appearance ! What is beautiful about that town is there are some really great folks there and its location with thermal springs nearby and in town are interesting, I think there over 33 geothermal sites between Camas Prairie and Niarada !

I know ..... the pit looks huge from satellite! I mean when you look at it from the ground it doesn't seem that big. But from above!! Recently, I noticed a great picture of Butte but couldn't get it. It currently is on the Montana Tech Website (mtech.edu). great picture of uptown Butte with the pit in the background. I suggest everyone check it out cause the brick building look awesome, that is the Butte I think is pretty.
