Unhappy Montana avalanche kills 2

Just read about it in our paper tonight. They were out snowmobiling.

Happened at the base of Mt Baldy. My thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family of Kris Rains, and Brett Toney.
At least one guy did survive.
Please be careful out there.

This is so sad. I knew these guys and am very sorry for their families. We don't have a good consolidated source of avalanche info like they do in the Gallatin County area. They were in a non-motorized area, but still, just remember that avalanches can happen where you live, too. It's not just something you see on tv.
