Ok, I went into the shop and paid for half on the shoes. The kid was not actually there when I stopped in, it sounds like he may have gotten closed in under the hood of another vehicle, he's been missing since Monday. Last they saw him he was leaning over the hood of a Volkswagon Jetta.

Somebody get the plate number of that VW ! Gotta give them people a call and tell them to be aware of the scam they are running.

You got suckered on them boots . Makes me wonder how much they raked in and how long they been running it ? I think I'm gonna have a talk with that manager again over there. I'm gonna threaten to blow the whistle if he doesn't let me in on it.

Everyone could use a little supplemental income...

Well, after reading all of the posts, it sounds alot like my cousin Dude. He's from West Virginia originally. Sadly to say he's not the "brightest bulb in the box". He tends to take things too literally, like when you say "you need to get under the hood" ya well...... As far as lawsuits, again, not too bright. Just offer him some Skoal, 12 pack of Pabst and a bag of pork rinds. If that should fail, Nascar tickets always work out. Just remember if you find him under your hood, thank him for being so dedicated and thorough. And a bonus, if you have one of those Billy Bass singing fish, you have a friend for life!

I had a bad noise in my truck too, and it cost me almost $300 bucks to get some louder speakers so I didn't have to listen to it anymore.
