The Lebanese Bistro opened yesterday in Morgantown's Wharf District. Located near Olivario's and the West Virginia Brewing Company, the restaurant will offer a complete menu of middle eastern cuisine in a very nice ambience.
This is great for Morgantown. This, along with the numerous other ethnic cuisine options in Morgantown, really contributes to our reputation as a foodie hub in the region, especially with the unfortunate news that we'll be losing both the Golden Finch and Richwood Grill.
Wait... Both the Richwood Grill and the Golden Finch are leaving!? What happened?
Checked the Golden Finch facebook page - no mention of closing but lots of community involvement and meal specials -- I won't believe the report that GF is closing until I see some real evidence to suggest such a possibility...

The Golden Finch seems to be doing just fine. I have heard no such report.
I think the guy running Richwood Grill is just retooling for another venture. His space is limited in the current location, and parking is an issue there too.
Well, I only heard that the Golden Finch was closing through the grapevine, so take that with a grain of salt. I did, however, hear that Richwood Grill will be closing in November straight from the horse's mouth, unfortunately.

I'd only eaten there once, but they were phenomenal. I had a roasted butternut squash, stuffed with wild rice and other grains. For me, the price was higher than my comfort level for dinner and dessert.
