Kind of, sort of yes on the annual income........it really depends on what you do for a living and if you are W2 or not, and if you write off any expenses for unreimbursed business expenses.
Many 100% commission jobs are also W2........almost any type of sales, will have write-offs that would reduce the overall gross......Hair dressers are W2 and many have expenses that offset their income.......
But to answer your question........yes to the gross...unless there are expenses on the tax returns.
Lenders will take the gross but will pull your tax return so if you file a 2106, let your lender know that too.
