IS that motorcyclist wearing a crash helmet, or are they just rather big-headed?
It is a question you could well be asking in the future if a team of off-the-wall designers from Kazakhstan get their way.

Wouldn't wear it...not because i don't like the design, i've seen their work and proposals earlier this year, and they're interesting to say the least. My issue is that the helmet is a 3/4 helmet, and the majority of impacts tend to be on the lower portion of the face, particularlly the chin...because i don't like the idea of my chin being implanted somewhere up behind my nose, i'll stick with my full face helmet.

If it was offered in a full face design, hmmm...i might consider it...especially if i was trying to make a statement of some sort...would probably draw some attention too, which is always good when riding a bike.

I second that. I like the funky design, but the chin protection is a must. It doesn't even appear to have face shield snaps.

May have some slight appeal to the crowd that wears 'beanies' and other cosmetic/costume helmets; I have seen some very creative/amusing helmets at meets and gatherings. I just don't choose to wear that kind.

..."designers from Kazakhstan"...Hmmm. With all the great design/tech/assembly and ratings, by the big name brands of lids, not sure I need a helmet from Kazakhstan.

I either wear a full helmet or no helmet. A 3/4 may help you feel safer, but for actually being safer I dont think so. Thats just MHO though.

That style is not to my liking as i prefer a full faced style and the graphics are a bit of a laugh but not my cup of tea but if that was my only option and a motorcycle was my only means of transportation i'd wear the helmet to get home..

Kinda funny but I wouldn't rock it. I prefer a half helmet.

At the MSF Beginning Riders Course they said that a 3/4 helmet protects approx 50% of the head and a full protects about 90%. The 1/2 protects something around 30%, but its the part of the head that doesn't typically make contact. They said that typically the face, chin and sides are bound to take the impact versus the top of the head.

I wear a 3/4 myself but I've been thinking about a full. Just gotta' get off my butt and do it.

If they made it in a full faced version with a stupid grin and missing teeth,I'd order one right now(a hairlip would be even cooler)...course,some call me eccentric...or just plain old goofy.
