My very first bike was a Honda Trail 50 and was followed by this "monster" within the year.A Bridgestone BS 50.....That summer I was 6 yrs old(took off by standing beside the porch steps and would nearly fall over when I stopped every time) and I rode that Bridgestone from the midwest to California and back at least 100 times(in my mind) and never left an 8 acre area.
You know what, those Zook GS bikes were awesome. I learned to ride with a couple buddies teaching me on a GPZ550 and a GS (500, 550? something like that). Great bike...

I DREAMED of one of those when I had that Bridgestone...my cousin who was about 3 yrs older had a lemon/lime metallic one and he was DA' MAN!!! They would smoke a Honda Trail 70 and just looked like you could ride around the world on one(IF your Mom would let ya and you could be home before the street lights came on that is)
My two brothers and I all had ridiculous mini-bikes of some sort...I always came in last in our frequent races, unless I cheated, because I outweighed 'em. Still have a faint scar one my right calf from a nasty crack up that stuck a brake lever into my leg...stupid damn kids anyway

My cousin had a 3 1/2 horse Briggs mini bike that we rode the hell out of until we broke the throttle cable.....I tinkered around with it for a bit and I wired the throttle WTF open with a bread wrapper wire(I was about ten and even more clueless then than I am now...seriously spooky)....anyway,I hold the back end off the ground,he pulls the starter rope and fires it up and I'm supposed to hold it up till he's ready to go...that fatass flops down on the seat,I can't hold the weight up and he disappeared into a cloud of dust and fart smell running like a bat out of hell(you should have seen the expression on his face when I dropped that thing...PRICELESS).......He let it hit top speed before realizing he was plump out of control of the situation and then bailed off and looked like some kind of circus performer because he done so many flips...my shirt tail didn't touch my ass till I got home because he was older and bigger than me and I just knew that somehow he was going to blame the whole thing on me and my Aunt was going to be pissed about eating stale bread too, because that's where I got the bread tie from..
