I've been around enough actors and actresses to know when that spark is there. It is rare that you get to see it shine through on-screen on the small screen.

If she plays her cards well and her agent does right by her, I'm positive I just saw one. Gwyneth Keyworth, from Wales. IMDB doesn't have much of anything on her yet. It will. Watch for it.

I've never personally knew any but I knew Jada Pinkett's cousin in middle school and he was telling me about her before she got on A Different World.

My husband also knew Scott Stapp (from Creed) growing up and lived around the corner from him. My FIL knew Wendy Malick growing up also.

Ever see a star before they become a star?
THis would be fascinating to ponder if it were about astronomy rather than celebrity.

That is a rather nebulous observation. Sid would be intrigued.

I met Patrick Dempsey when we were both teenagers. He was playing the lead in an off-broadway version of Brighton Beach Memoirs. It was playing at the theater where I worked. I met a lot of actors and actresses as they came through and most of them I don't remember. I remembered him because he was different than most...very genuine, not full of himself. He may be very different now I suppose.
