I had to see that twice before I got what was supposed to be going on.

Basically, it was a time paradox thing. The received a message in the library, figured out that they had to go out to the event horizon to figure out what the message meant, got there, fell into the black hole and because the hole allowed them to exit (visit) at any time and place they wanted, they chose to go to the library to leave a warning message. That's what I remember from it.
Last Year at Marienbad was baffling. On the other hand, I'd been forewarned, so it didn't surprise me.
Just curious - you paid for admission three times for a movie which, though okay, is hardly a masterpiece, even though you hated it twice? I've gone a second time to see a movie I've hated, but not for a pop superhero movie. I've done it for Breathless, for instance.
Nocturnal Animals, and I love both the leads in that film. I'm still not sure what really happened.

I read the book after so I know what the author intended.
The director, on the other hand, lead me in a different direction. From the opening scene, showing what turns out to be Edward's point of view, following Susan home one night, and she enters her gated driveway, you see Edward's headlights on the closing door. The next morning Susan is given the manuscript, which he dropped off that night.
I saw the story as mostly true, except for the ending, as he's obviously still alive. To me, he did not show at the restaurant because he still has the scars from his run in with one of the killers.
Could someone please explain to me who killed Clara in "A kind of murder"?
