I think that bringing in team members from the previous 4 movies made Fast Five and add in franchise Viagra in The Rock the Point Break remake fast franchise became a thing like the MCU or the latest Bond.
Well even though I say 6 is probably my favorite, there is still one thing I don't get in it that keeps me scratching my head on each viewing.
SPOILER
How is it that the authorities pronounced Letty as dead when she wasn't even in the car? How did they know she was even in the car, since it wasn't legally hers I don't think even? What lead them to that conclusion that she was dead. Plus why did Dom believe she was dead, when would have said in the news articles that no body was found in the car and they are just going by assumption? Or did he just read the basic headline and missed how no body was found?

Perhaps the testimony of her FBI Agent handler to the coroner when she went missing.
So a woman goes missing, and a car is in an accident from a chase possibly and everyone thinks she was in it just cause some FBI agent said it could have been her?
Wouldn't they check for body parts, and not find any and not go by the agent assuming she was dead though? Plus a coroner would not come to the conclusion her body was in the car, when it wasn't, just cause she was missing.

True but then cars don't break your fall from heights either
Well they still could have wrote it a better way probably. Like the villain who recruited Letty wanted the world to think she was dead, so maybe he could have switched her dental records when they ID's a burnt body, of someone else or something like that??
