Boring! I took my kids to see it at the movies when it came out. Even they were bored!

I mean Star Wars obviously never happened, but it still is a great movie even when some scenes were based on (read: stolen from) scenes from old b/w Japanese movies.
Simply because it was a terrible movie . Very very DULL. I enjoy fiction. I certainly wouldnt compare anything about BC to Star Wars.

We went opening day as my son was excited by the previews. Should have read some reviews first.

Both BC and Star Wars are works of fiction, thus comparable.
The thing is that if you had said that you find BC boring I can't dispute that fact. But because YOU found it boring does not make it boring.
I simply did not find it boring; BC had plenty of action scenes.

Since when does taste has anything to do with quantity?
Good taste is all about quality.
Besides there is no point in discussing taste because it is all in the eye of the beholder.

Didn't anyone else notice how much of a rip-off this movie was to Mel Gibson's APACOLYPTO (sp?)? I noticed that right away and this movie was nowhere as good. Poor lines, poor acting, and no excitement at all. I agree with many of the others - boring. I expected better.

It was also a rip-off of Battlefield Earth in many aspects. When you rip off one of the worst movies ever, how good can it be?
