Reminds me a little bit of Edward Scissorhands

I seriously heart Johnny Depp, but the second comment on that site cracked me up!

Irritated sigh. He needs to look hot again.

"The film will combine performance-capture imagery, currently seen in Beowulf, with live-action footage."

I wasn't sure what performance-capture imagery was - it's this: "Performance Capture utilizes reference points (or 'markers') - glass beads covered in reflective tape and glued to a performer's body - to reflect infrared light back into banks of 1,000-line digital video cameras to create moving 3D images from any angle."

- much more detail on it in this fascinating story on the making of The Polar Express - The Polar Express: digital performance capture

I hope this is better than the remake of Willy Wonka - but I too love Johnny Depp and Tim Burton. If Danny Elfman does the soundtrack I will love this movie.

Here you go... found it on IMDB.

I'm not a Tim Burton fan.. guy is a freak and IMO the cartoon itself was creepy so between the 2 I doubt I'll watch the movie even as much as I love Depp and Alan Rickman

It was kinda creepy for a children's movie, huh? A guy in my literature class did an in-depth analysis behind it showing how all the characters were really on drugs or something lmao it was the funniest thing I ever read in my adult life.

The author of Alice In Wonderland (Lewis Carroll aka the Reverand Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) is the first recognized child pornographer (he liked to "photograph" little children) and much of AIW was written during his experimental phases with various "chemicals".

Eeek......didn't know that piece of history!

I'm still looking forward to the movie. I enjoy Johnny Depp in everything other than Willy Wonka where he reminded me of Michael Jackson.

I love AIW.. I hope this one lives up to my expectations. I love Tim Burton, but Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was awful.
