It's DIE, SPY! night so I watched ......
Chain Reaction
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115857/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

A good movie, if one ignores its fundamental flaw and any errors (the wonders of this week long makeup!) but it is more an action flick than a spy one.

Still, something to get away from it all for about 2 hours or so.

The Two Popes was the last one, then yesterday watched Pet Semetary (2019) because I had missed it in theaters, Little Women, and Honey Boy. I get sent screeners every year (I’m in the industry), so any awards hopeful the studios want to push they send to us. It’s nice being able to watch it all from home and in some cases like Little Women and The Two Popes, I see the movies before they’re released to the public. Same with Richard Jewel, saw it last weekend. It gets overwhelming being sent 40 screeners though so it’s heavy movie time for a month from late Nov to late Dec lol

“Please, Stand By” with Dakota Fanning. Excellent, uplifting story about an autistic girl who writes a movie script for Star Trek.

Harry and Tonto (1974) just now on TCM. What a beautiful film. It made me put my phone down, sit back, and enjoy the long peaceful ride. Art Carney was fabulous and deserving of his Oscar.
