Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) - IMDb

Once again, probably saw it "advertised" on Telemundo, so picked up a copy in the Fall of last year. Excellent.

Blade Runner, The Final Cut.

The lighting in that film is still beautifully done, even rivaling Barry Lyndon.

"Eddie the Eagle"
Nice family movie but enjoyable for almost any age
Very nice presentation of desire to accomplish something despite ridicule and lack of support...
Good for discussion of dreams vs real expectations and the commercializations of amateur athletics in general and Olympics in particular...
Photography of jumps was pretty believable...scary to me...hate heights...

Watched "Moneyball" on cable today....horrible number of commercials but I was too lazy to see if it was available w/o them on another source...
Should just buy it on Amazon...always wind up watching it if I catch it running through the channels...

Yesterday I watched "secret in their eyes." Simply a bad movie. I had high expectations but came away with a poor liking of the movie. The movie had many long dry spells. This is a perfect example of a star cast producing bad results.

Winter on Fire: Ukraine's Fight for Freedom (2015)
Quote:
A documentary on the unrest in Ukraine during 2013 and 2014, as student demonstrations supporting European integration grew into a violent revolution calling for the resignation of President Viktor F. Yanukovich.
Enlightening. The brutality of the state's attacks inflicted on the Ukrainian people was hard to watch.
