I would love to see this...and no, I haven't heard of it coming out. But I wish it would...ONLY if it would have the original cast...it would be nice to see where the creator would have them going with their lives...but hopefully nothing too predictable...like Alley or Judd being a druggie or in jail....

Part II should have been the following week when (john) Bender had to go back again for seven more weeks for making (principal) Vernon upset.

Who would have been the next bunch of misfits that following week ??

"Breakfast Club" is one of those movies that makes me cringe when shown on free-tv. It CAN NOT be edited and censored, for alot of the classic scenes lose it's full effects. It should also be left alone in my opinion. I don't see what sort of compelling story line could be brought to the folds 25 years later. Now that I'm older, I look back at some of the dramatized scenes, the more serious moments, and I think, boy this actually is pretty inane. But from the comedy aspect, the lighter moments and one-liners, this would still rank as one of my three favorites all-time.

Default Great movie

I agree, classic movie. A sequel or using some of those characters in a different movie would have been cool.

Way too old for it to happen. It needed to be released a year or so after the first.

I always wondered what would have happened on the Monday when they were all back at school and how the acted towards each other, that would have been a good sequel.

I think they should have a sequel where they attend their 20th high school reunion and they all end up in the library talking about their mid-life crisis!
Let's see...
Brian ends up a widower with two kids,
Clair is a single mom trying to raise her three girls,
Andrew is a workaholic and doesn't spend enough time with his kids,
Allison owns a very successful art gallery,
and John Bender has turned his life around- married a good woman but has a teenage son who is getting into a lot of trouble.

And at the end, Clair and Brian end up together!
