Was it funny and worth seeing in the theater? Looking to see a movie this weekend just wanted to know if it's worth seeing in the theater?

We saw it last week. Sorry, but I can't recommend it...it just wasn't very funny, even though Vince Vaughn (one of my favorite funny-guys) had some good lines.

Couples Retreat Movie Reviews, Pictures - Rotten Tomatoes

If "The Imposter" is still around, go see that. Based on a true story, Matt Damon's character delivered some good laughs, and we enjoyed it way better than "Couples Retreat".

I just saw this movie and it was fun, funny and the story line was decent. Although it will not likely when an academy award, I think it is a movie worth seeing... This is a great date movie and a little bit more of a chic-flick than an all man's movie. However, it has a little something to offer everyone. I think Vince Vaughn stole the show, but all the actors and actresses brought something to the table. Thumbs up on this one.

do you mean "The Informant" with Matt Damon?? that movie was funny, but a little confusing at times, at least for me anyway!

Oooops!!!! Yes...I meant "The Informant". (I guess you could say he filled the role of "the imposter" too...LOL.) I think it was confusing because the main character had a little problem with telling the truth.

What is absolutely amazing to me is that this is based on a true story:

i thought it was pretty decent - with that cast and the potential for what could of been done, it feels like they left a little bit on the table trying to appeal to large audiences and some of the lines/scenarios were forced and it seemed like "so and so actor has to have at least 3 of these type of lines each movie, so let's get one in here"

despite that there were many enjoyable moments and good laughs - my wife and I thought the yoga instructor stole the movie and "boom" "encouragement" have been said around our house with more frequency

I actually heard it was pretty funny. I think the cast itself looks hillarious so I was planning on catching it sometime soon!
