The other thread was movies that should have a sequel, this is dedicated to those that shouldn't. My first entry is:

Friday. I think they did everything that needed to be done in the first movie. They didn't need one sequel, much less two.

Blade. I liked the first one but I could not watch 2 and 3.
Fast and the Furious, why do we have 4 now?

Friday? You mean Friday the 13th? I wonder if there were twelve prequels?

There are a few:

I cant remember the name but it was with talking babies.
Garfield - who greenlighted a sequel to this trash?
Pokemon movies
Timecop - Ugh. Why bother with a sequel?
Poltergeist - first one was great. No need for 2 and 3.
Legally Blonde
The Exorcist - Sequel was awful.
Weekend at Bernies - did they really need a sequel to this?
Dumb and Dumber - Original is a classic, sequel was just godawful.

Default Aliens 3

I know Aliens was itself a sequel to Alien and a good one, but there never should have been a sequel to it in the form of Alien 3, which destroyed the series in a way no movie ever has destroyed a series. The people who made that movie should have been thrown into a pit full of aliens. A shameful destruction of a great series.

Yeah I kind of agree there, I think the second one was alright, never never as good as the first one but the third one, no need for it.

I always watch Friday, and the sequel after that, but have only seen the third one once.
