Well, from the "golden" era, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, and Cary Grant and Claudette Colbert definitely.

Great pairings more recently,

- Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson "Marley and Me'

- Hugh Grant and Andie McDowell "Four Weddings and a Funeral"

- Hugh Grant and Martine McCutcheon "Love Actually"

- "Sawyer and Kate" - Lost's Josh Holloway and Evangeline Lilly

Peanut Butter and Grape Jelly. Different but they go together well. Todays hollywood couples dont seem to last as long as in the past. Stress? Jealous? Couples I enjoy in the movies :
Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn
Clark Gable and Carole Lombard
Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall
Paul Newmann and Joanne Woodward
Cary Grant and Ingred Bergman
John Wayne and Maureen Ohara
Robert Taylor and Barbara Stanwyck

Being a "boomer" these are some of the actors and actresses we saw growing up both in movie theaters and on t v.
