Are you talking about "Interview with a Vampire"? Not canibals, but, obviously, vampires. Had a portion that dealt with Victorian era vampires pretending to be humans pretending to be vampires, in a theather setting. Not that disgusting, mildly disturbing.
Nope. This was way before IWAV and was a B grade cult movie. I may well be imagining the cannibal part.
Somehow stumbled upon this old thread, and just *had* to respond...absolutely, without a doubt it has to be "The Human Centipede". Have any of you seen it? Ugh, I'm a fan of the gross and disturbing but this...I'd rather not explain the premise myself, so here's a trailer:
Cannibal Holocaust, easily. this was the film that got a LOT of flack for killing and dismembering live animals in the movie (there is a particularly disturbing scene involving a turtle). and there are several rape scenes. interesting film, plot wise (very similar to the Blair Witch Project, but came out in the 70's-80's), but it's just over the top w/ the extreme graphic images
For a film that fits the description of disturbing.........The Lottery
It was about a town that held a lottery every 4th of July to decide which resident gets stoned to death.
They believed the town's prosperity was linked to their annual ritual.
