Yes I know one has passed and one is still alive but just for fun please take the poll. My vote is for Prince.

Love Prince but he never matched Michael's Genius, popularity, vocal ability, or humanitarianism efforts.

The Gloved One, like him or not reached legendary status only matched by the King and the Beatles ( And ABBA if you are Swedish ).

Apples and oranges really. One is a singer/performer, the other is a prodigy musician/performer. Almost like saying who's better Eddie Van Halen or Luther Vandross, or choose between Madonna and Parliament Funkadelic. Very difficult to choose because both are so different.

Both are legendary, both will be inducted into the hall of fame.

Agreed. They're nothing alike, can't be compared.

Prince has much more depth musically and creatively.

Michael Jackson easily. His talents are unrivaled; You have to literally break his moves and his rhythm down to a science.

MJ by far. The man was a genius and a misunderstood eccentric. History is quite possibly one of the greatest albums of all time, aside from his earlier work that he'll more likely be remembered for (Bad, Thriller).

Honestly, I don't even put the Beatles and Elvis in the same class as MJ. it's MJ then everyone else.

I like Prince; but honestly MJ is legendary. When I listen to Michael Jackson, I also have to actually see the performance- he is that magical....
Btw, I can't listen to Michael Jackson without dancing, either

Both, for very different reasons. They both influenced modern music in a way most young people don't even realize.
