Patsy Cline was the first woman superstar in country music. And there are a LOT of lady country singers who credit her for them getting in the business, starting with Loretta Lynn. Her music is timeless, she put feeling into her music, her music sells well to this day, and I never get tired of listening to her. IMHO, when you talk of the ladies of Country music, you start with her.

I don't think Patsy Cline was that good looking. The photos on the albums were retouched to make her look more attractive. But, looks are not everything, and she was a great singer.

Wow this thread was started back in the days when Patsy was still alive. Wonder what brought it up again.

What was pretty or hansome was different then then it is now. Does any man today like that large hip and thin waist look like Marilyn Monroe? That is not attractive today.

The girl sure could sing though. I wonder why the pictures were deleted though. Everyone posts pics on here. 2goldens....why why why oh why?

Eye of the beholder deal. Many people found/find Barbra Streisand ugly, but to me she is a real beauty.

I think Marilyn Monroe was great looking, and last time I looked, I was a man. Patsy Cline was an attractive woman IMO.
